The Urban League of Rochester’s Salute to Black Scholars Program has been providing recognition, access to scholarships, and assistance in preparing and applying for college to high school seniors who maintain a “B” or better average throughout high school. After the Black Scholars Program began, the Urban League recognized a need to broaden the scope of the Black Scholars program to include younger students. Originated in 1984, the Early Recognition Program is designed to identify and support students in grades 9-12 who have high academic abilities.
Please note - there is a limit of 3 adults with one scholar. While we are in a large building, we also have a lot of families that want to attend. Please do not register more than 3 guest with your honoree's registration. Due to the size of this event, it is protocol on RIT campus to have metal detectors for safety concerns. All bags will be checked at the door. Please be prepared and bring only your personal items, such as purses, diaper bags, etc. If you have any questions concerning handicap, elderly, or hearing impaired guests; please contact Mr. Johnson by e-mail at: firstname.lastname@example.org
I'm sorry, the event you are trying to register for has ended.
